Upload Files to Canva
Working in Canva to complete an assignment? As you have been working, you happen to use a different app or other software to create a video or image, but now you need to use it in your Canva project. The file is either on your Chromebook (Files) or in your Google Drive. Please follow these steps if you need to add the file to the available files in Canva so that it can be added to your project.
Upload Files to Canva:
- Go to Canva
- Select File from top menu
- Choose Import Files
- Click Choose files (with the cloud symbol)
-
- this opens a file menu, and with a Chromebook you choose camera, which will provide a list of files produced with the Chromebook Camera app
- NOTE: we recommend if files are saved to the Chromebook directly, it is best to add / upload them to your Google Drive
- Select Camera App or your Google Drive
- Select your file, video / picture (you may need to navigate to the folder containing the desired file)
- Click Upload / Open for the file to be uploaded to the Canva files
- The file now should be available for you to add to their Canva project
